The Fallow Bespoke service gives clients and designers the option to work with our team on a project that is truly personal. Our joinery practice remains true to our values by using the best materials and the trusted techniques that have stood the test of time.
The Fallow Original cabinetry is a collection of hardwood in-frame Shaker units, made from premium tulip wood (poplar) and hung with buttress hinges. The carcases are constructed from high-grade ash-veneered birch plywood while our drawers feature traditional dovetail joints. Built using traditional joinery techniques, these cabinets can be expertly arranged to fit any space. They are everything we believe a kitchen should be. Beauty through quality and simplicity.

Fallow Workshops designs and builds elegant yet functional kitchen cabinetry and home furniture.
The Fallow story began on a building site in London’s east end when an acclaimed actress of stage and screen fame asked us to build her a new kitchen. The project was a success, our projects grew in number and before we knew it, we were building beautiful cabinetry across London.
Whilst the company has grown, we maintain the same dedication for craftsmanship and customer joy… and long may that continue.
Ideally, we take anything from a few minutes to a few hours of your time for an initial debrief on your project, either in person or in store. To understand your vision and show you how we work. Everyone starts from a different point, so it’s very helpful to understand your desired approach and how this might interplay with our standard process. We are happy to follow orders or take the lead on the design of a project. Either option (and the middle ground) is workable!
Within one week, we will supply you with an Auto-CAD design and a quote based on our initial conversation. We would then arrange to meet or call you to discuss the quote further. This phase is free of charge.
Depending on the outcomes of our previous conversations, we would supply you with an updated version of the design and quote. We will repeat this step until we have landed on the perfect design for your kitchen! This phase is still free of charge.
We will send you an invoice for a deposit payment once everything has been agreed. This includes all design aspects, including paint colour and appliance choices. A second payment is due on arrival of your kitchen, and a third once the installation is complete.
The current lead time from the date of deposit payment is three months. We love fitting our own kitchens and are very happy to do so. However, we do also understand that some of our customers have a pre-existing agreement with a kitchen fitter and that is also fine. We would provide them with a full set of drawings and always be on the phone for questions to help make the installation process as efficient and stress-free for you as possible.
